Museumweek: Leen je Museumkaart uit!
Van zaterdag 1 t/m vrijdag 7 april is het Museumweek. Dan zijn er bijzondere activiteiten in de musea én je mag deze week voor één keer je – anders altijd persoonsgebonden – Museumkaart uitlenen.
Het is wel zo dat mensen de échte Museumkaart moeten laten zien. Geen kopie of foto van de kaart. Er mag per kaart 1 bezoeker naar binnen. De bezoeker komt dus in plaats van de kaarthouder. Je kunt wel altijd zelf nog op een ander moment gaan.
Iedere dag staan de vrijwilligers van het Noord-Veluws Museum klaar om de bezoekers te ontvangen en vertellen graag iets over de tentoonstellingen in de verschillende zalen. Topstukken van Briët, Viegers en vele andere Veluwse schilders vertellen het verhaal van het leven op de Veluwe.
Ultieme kans
De Museumweek is tevens de periode waarin de bezoekers de blikvangers van de Huysmans tenstoonstelling naast elkaar kunnen zien hangen; Boerendans De Wals en Boerendans De Polka. Na Pasen moet Boerendans, De Wals terug naar het Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar. Vanaf dat moment toont het Noord-Veluws Museum een bijzondere replica op ware grootte die zeker de moeite waard is.
Vrijwilligers delen hun kaart
Iedere dag mogen tenminste 10 belangstellenden het museum bezoeken met de kaart van één van de museum-vrijwilligers. Het is van belang om van te voren aan te geven of u van dit aanbod gebruik wilt maken want iedere kaart kan slechts éénmaal per dag worden gebruikt en ‘op is op’.

Meestal zien we in het Noord-Veluws Museum figuratieve schilders, die een band hebben of hadden met de vroegere kunstenaarskolonie in Nunspeet. Maar de expositie Onder de Bos is een hommage aan de lyrische abstractie van Eugène Brands (1913-2002)

Op 11 april worden vier schilderijen uit deze tentoonstelling naar het Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar gebracht. Daar is van 29 april t/m 3 september 2023 de tentoonstelling Van Gogh, Cézanne, Le Fauconnier & de Bergense School te zien. Schilderijen zoals ‘Boerendans, de wals’ van Frans Huysmans mogen op die tentoonstelling niet ontbreken. Door de coronaperiode zijn de tentoonstellingen een paar keer verplaatst, waardoor de tentoonstellingen elkaar overlappen.
Dinsdag 11 april is de tentoonstelling Frans Huysmans en de Bergense School tot 14 uur wel voor een deel toegankelijk, terwijl de kunstwerken worden gewisseld.
Voor Huysmans’ topwerk uit 1914 ‘Boerendans, de wals’ is een prachtige kopie gemaakt. Daarnaast wordt er voor het eerst een spectaculair stilleven van Huysmans met een afmeting van 105 x 205 cm in de originele lijst tentoongesteld. Het stilleven is rond 1915 gemaakt, in dezelfde tijd als de Boerendans schilderijen (ook bekend als Danszaal in de Rustende Jager te Bergen).
N.B. De vaste collectie ‘Kunstenaarsdorp’ en de expositie ‘Bauhaus in Nunspeet’ met werk van Kitty van der Mijll Dekker en Hermann Fischer zijn gewoon te bezoeken.

Museumweek: Leen je Museumkaart uit!
Van zaterdag 1 t/m vrijdag 7 april is het Museumweek. Dan zijn er bijzondere activiteiten in de musea én je mag deze week voor één keer je – anders altijd persoonsgebonden – Museumkaart uitlenen.
Het is wel zo dat mensen de échte Museumkaart moeten laten zien. Geen kopie of foto van de kaart. Er mag per kaart 1 bezoeker naar binnen. De bezoeker komt dus in plaats van de kaarthouder. Je kunt wel altijd zelf nog op een ander moment gaan.
Iedere dag staan de vrijwilligers van het Noord-Veluws Museum klaar om de bezoekers te ontvangen en vertellen graag iets over de tentoonstellingen in de verschillende zalen. Topstukken van Briët, Viegers en vele andere Veluwse schilders vertellen het verhaal van het leven op de Veluwe.
Ultieme kans
De Museumweek is tevens de periode waarin de bezoekers de blikvangers van de Huysmans tenstoonstelling naast elkaar kunnen zien hangen; Boerendans De Wals en Boerendans De Polka. Na Pasen moet Boerendans, De Wals terug naar het Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar. Vanaf dat moment toont het Noord-Veluws Museum een bijzondere replica op ware grootte die zeker de moeite waard is.
Vrijwilligers delen hun kaart
Iedere dag mogen tenminste 10 belangstellenden het museum bezoeken met de kaart van één van de museum-vrijwilligers. Het is van belang om van te voren aan te geven of u van dit aanbod gebruik wilt maken want iedere kaart kan slechts éénmaal per dag worden gebruikt en ‘op is op’.
